1、按下“白色圓按鈕”開機，從小顯示屏上可以看到當前的讀取內存地址情況。
2、將AIX系統光盤第一張盤插入到光驅中；當開機到一定時間后開始讀光盤，當系統發出兩聲蜂鳴聲時，立即按一下ASCII終端鍵盤的“5”鍵（或圖形界面鍵盤上的“F5”鍵）。

2．按照屏幕提示，按1鍵，確認，設置系統控制臺的語言環境為英語環境；

4．在光標處鍵入“2”, 確認，選中“Change/show Installation Settings and Install”選項，進入安裝和設置界面，見圖3；
Installation and Settings
Enter type 0 and press Enter to install with Current setting ,or type the number of the setting you want to change and press Enter.

為了修改圖3中選項“System Settings”下的內容，在光標處鍵入“1”，確認。

1 New and Complete overwrite
Overwrites EVERYTRING on the disk selected for installation .
Warning:Only use this method if the disk is totally empty or if there
is nothing on the disk you want to preserve.
>>2 Preservation Install
preserves SOME of the existing data on the disk selected for
installation. Warning:This method overwrites the usr(/usr),
varlable(/var),temporary (/tmp),and root (/) file systems,other
product (applications) files and configuration data will be destroyed.

首先出現的是“Change Method of Installation”界面，由于系統進行的全安裝，因此在光標處鍵入“1”，確認，選中“New and Complete Overwrite”選項。
之后出現“Change Disk Where You Want to Install”見面，

此處不需修改，在光標處確認，回到圖3所示的界面。此時“Method of Installation”項的屬性已變為“New and Complete Overwrite”。在光標處直接確認，完成安裝設置。

12、重啟后配置“系統時間”、“超級用戶口令” 點擊最后一項“退出配置”
